PLEASE CHANGE TO THE NEW NATIONAL LOCAL CALL DIAL NUMBER

Pavilion's National Local Dial number 0645 270000 has now been operational for two months!!!!

All Pavilion's subscribers should take advantage of this number by changing the prefix of the number you call from 01273 to 0645. Pavilion's commitment still stands; there will be no engaged tones on the service and there is no extra charge for the new service unlike other ISPs. Some of our customers were confused by these prices, there is NO EXTRA COST for the national number and anybody can use this service.

We recommend that all our subscribers change to the new number.

Now is the time to recommend your friends or your company to join the Internet with Pavilion.

The new annual subscription charge is £100.00 plus VAT, which is less than £10.00 per month. If you want to change to the annual just e-mail sales@pavilion.net and they will help you.

PERSONNEL

Due to the continued expansion of Pavilion we have two vacancies open at the moment. One in Sales and the other in Customer Services if you want to join Pavilion then look at the Positions Vacant section on our Web Site.

SYSTEMS

1. User Software

   Pavilion has now had the Microsoft Internet Explorer Software duplicated and we now only waiting for the new User Guide to be printed before we start to distribute it.

   Pavilion will make it available on its FTP site, but if you want to you can download it from the Microsoft Site before then and we would recommend that you do this now. Anybody that subscribes from December onwards will receive a free copy of the new software update, and for those of our subscribers who cannot download the software off our FTP site, then it will be available in either CD Rom or Disks for UKP5.00 plus VAT.

2. Pavilion Home Page

   Pavilion has designed a new Home Page under the URL of http://www.pavilion.net this will go live in June but those subscribers who are using an up to date browser can view it now.

3. Secure Server

   Pavilion has the license to run its own Secure Server. This will be available to all Pavilion business customers who have a Corporate Virtual Web Server and will be free of charge.

4. Online Credit Card Authorisation

   Pavilion has signed an agreement to offer its Web Site Customers Online Secure Credit Card Authorisations through NatWest, any company interested in using this service should contact sales@pavilion.net.

5. Encrypted Routers

   Pavilion has been appointed as an Authorised Reseller of the new Securior Routers, which have a number of advantages over other manufacturers:

   1. The basic router can be used for either ISDN or Leased Lines.
   2. If used for ISDN it can be up-graded to a Leased Line service.
   3. An Encryption Module can be purchased to enable Data to be encrypted over the Internet so that the Internet can be used as a Private Intranet with all data scrambled between sites and decoded at the end destination.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

1. Mailing Lists:

   We have been developing a mailing list system that we will be able to provide to our customers. This will enable you to maintain flexible discussion groups using email. You will be able to make your messages public or private as you choose, and even be able to vet messages before they are forwarded to the whole group. Anyone wishing to know more should contact our sales department (sales@pavilion.net) for pricing options. We expect this service to come on-line any day.

   When this product is finished we will be setting up some mailing lists to improve communication with our customers. We will make use of these to keep you up to date via copies of our newsletter, and system status reports. By using a mailing list you will be able choose to subscribe and unsubscribe as you require.
