Shamrock Farm Demonstration

Sunday 9th January 2000

for National Demonstration 30.1.00

The demonstration was attended by an estimated 200 protesters who turned up on this sunny January day to make their voices heard.

They were confined to a small muddy area opposite the lane which leads to the "farm".

Police notices threatened arrest if demonstrators ventured outside their "pen".

This Chief Inspector kindly informed this group of protesters that they were making just the right amount of noise. Any more, and he would "not be happy".

All the time, the good natured but determined crowd were being filmed by the police "evidence gatherers".

What's wrong with Shamrock?
